Concert Review: Don Broco Delivers a Raucous, Personal Show in Nottingham, U.K.

Don Broco tore into the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on December 2nd with the kind of chaotic, electric energy only they can deliver. With a perfectly curated lineup of openers - Magnolia Park, State Champs, and Yonaka - the night felt set up to be huge from the start. The atmosphere was immediately loud and visceral, confirming that the packed arena was ready for an evening of relentless momentum, crowd-surfing, and mosh-pit euphoria.

Frontman Rob Damiani came out swinging from the first moment with infectious, genuine enthusiasm that set the tone; he radiated a palpable joy that matched the crowd’s intensity. The energy was relentlessly high, punctuated by fun crowd rituals like the now-essential throwing of Cadbury’s Mini Rolls during the opener, "Cellophane”. The band kept things fresh by incorporating a new track, "True Believer," which slotted seamlessly into their high-octane setlist alongside fan-favourite anthems. Yonaka’s Theresa Jarvis joined the band for a powerful, duet rendition of "Further”.

Don Broco’s authenticity shone through with a truly unforgettable moment, when a surprise proposal occurred in the seats. Rob Damiani, along with guitarist Si Delaney, celebrated the couple by joining them in the arena seats. They delivered a raw, intimate acoustic performance of "You Wanna Know", turning an arena full of noise into something notably tender.

It was that mix of explosive chaos and genuine connection that made the night feel special — a show that was as personal as it was dramatic.
