Concert Review: Cannibal Corpse – 2025 North American Tour, The Fillmore – Charlotte, NC

The final stop of Cannibal Corpse’s 2025 tour hit like a hammer smash to the face on October 22nd in Charlotte — and what a way to end it. This was my first Cannibal Corpse show, and I couldn’t have asked for a wilder introduction.

The night kicked off with Fulci, setting an eerie, cinematic tone before Full of Hell tore through a wall of noise and chaos. Municipal Waste followed, turning the pit into pure madness — including a guy in a banana suit crowd surfing like it was his life’s mission. By the time Cannibal Corpse hit the stage, the energy in the room was unhinged.

From the first guttural roar to the last breakdown, the band delivered everything you’d hope for from a tour closer — tight, ferocious, and unapologetically heavy. The crowd fed off every blast beat, including one hero in a hot dog costume who stayed front row the entire night, headbanging until the end.

If this show was any indication, Cannibal Corpse are still at the top of their game — and their fans are every bit as legendary.
