Concert Review: Bush with James and the Cold Gun and Mammoth at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA

On April 12, 2026, Bush performed at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA, alongside Mammoth and James and the Cold Gun. The crowded show was terrific, incredible and just an amazing night of rock music. The three bands played with high intensity and emotion that kept the audience on their feet, dancing and singing and cheering them on.

The first group that came on stage was James and the Cold Gun. And they were phenomenal.  Playing with a group of talented musicians such as James Joseph (lead vocals, guitar), James Biss (guitar), Gaby Elise (bass, backing vocals), Benny Mead (drums), the band originally from Cardiff Wales formed in 2019. They are self-described as honest and loud Rock and Roll with punk and alt rock influences.

At 8:00 p.m., Mammoth, an American rock band formed and fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen, hit the stage. Combining elements of metal, grunge, alternative, and hard rock, the group delivered an exceptional performance. The musicians are Wolfgang Van Halen (vocals, guitars, and keyboards), Ronnie Ficarro (bass, backing vocals), Garrett Whitlock (drums, percussion), Frank Sidoris (guitar, backing vocals), Jonathan Jourdan (guitars, backing vocals).

At 9:30 p.m. Bush the Grammy nominated and with multi-platinum records hit the stage. The audience was captivated by this outstanding performance. Gavin relationship with the audience was really strong and from the VIPs on the stage to the standing room only on the third floor Playing with a group of talented musicians including Gavin Rossdale (vocals, guitar) – Chris Traynor (guitar), Corey Britz (bass, backing vocals), Nik Hughes (drums),

Bush delivered one of the best Rock music shows that I have ever been to! Opening with Machine head, Bush continued with We’re all the Same on the Inside, More Than Machines, Prizefighter, and they closed out with two of their biggest hits Glycerine and Comedown.

At MGM Music Hall in Fenway, Boston, Bush performed fan favorite radio hits and executed some new songs from their last album I Beat Loneliness. The energy was unmatched. Seeing the whole crowd singing and dancing from the beginning to the end of this incredible performance is something that will stay in my memory for a long time.
