Bilmuri’s sold out stop at The Fillmore Charlotte was nothing short of a party disguised as a
concert. From the moment Johnny Franck walked on stage, grinning ear to ear, it was clear the
night would be special. He comes across as one of the most genuine, happy, and grateful
performers I have ever seen—someone who truly appreciates every person in the room.
The thing that makes a Bilmuri show so fun is the mix of raw heaviness with tongue-in-cheek
humor. One moment the crowd was headbanging to massive, face-melting riffs, and the next
they were laughing at Johnny’s off-the-cuff banter. It’s that balance—brutal breakdowns paired
with pure personality—that makes the project feel less like a traditional band and more like a
community.
The crowd never let up, scream-singing along to new tracks and old favorites alike. At times it
felt less like a concert and more like a giant inside joke that everyone was in on.
It was a phenomenal experience will definitely attend a future show, no questions asked.
