Concert Review: The Allman Betts Band at The Cabot, in Beverly, MA

What a wonderful performance! What a terrific show! Led by Devon Allman (Greg Allman's son) and Duane Betts (Dickey Betts' son), The Allman Betts Band performed a live music concert at The Cabot, in Beverly, MA, on July 24, 2026. It was an exceptional night of music.

The doors opened at 7:00 p.m. Rapidly, the seats at the theatre were filled up. The crowd was very excited to enter this historic venue with fantastic lights and sound and went crazy when the band entered the stage.  The performance featured tracks from their albums and a mix of original songs and classic tracks from the Allman Brothers Band.

"We're keeping the tradition alive", said Duane. Allman Betts Band is an original band, and our albums are the foundation of what we do, but we're also happy to include a couple of tips-of-the-hat to my dad Greg Allman, Dicky Betts and the rest of the original Allman Brothers. They're part of our influences. They're part of our history."

The audience were on fire as soon as the group started to play some of their favorite songs including - Trouble No More - Stand Back - Melissa - Blue Sky - No One left to Run With - Don't Want You No More - Dreams - Jessica - Down To The River.

Playing a blend of Southern rock - Country rock - Americana, and releasing two studio albums - Down the River (2019), and Bless Your Heart (2020), The Allman Betts Band are actually one of the most successful bands in the U.S.

Keeping history short. There's a long tradition of music behind the Allman Betts Band. The two front men of the group are carrying the musical torch once held by their fathers. This is a group of musicians who toured across the United States and abroad to make music accessible to their audience, creating a new soundtrack for the American South, and always searching for new songs to sing. They're The Allman Brothers Band carrying their music and talent a few days ago at The Cabot.
