I had the pleasure of shooting Bayside’s second Charlotte night of the Errors Tour, and the band did not disappoint. Playing back-to-back nights in the same city is no easy feat, but Bayside made it feel effortless, delivering a set that was both sharp and spontaneous.
The night was made even more special by The Sleeping joining the bill. Their high-energy set felt like a throwback for longtime fans, and together with Bayside, it created a double bill that tapped perfectly into the early 2000s scene while still feeling fresh.
By the time Bayside hit the stage, the crowd was ready to party. Fans shouted every lyric as the band balanced new tracks from There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive with fan favorites. From behind the lens, it was a thrill to capture those raw, unfiltered moments—the band feeding off the room’s energy, and fans who never missed a beat.
Overall, the second Charlotte night felt like a true celebration: of the music, of the tour, and of the community that has grown around both bands over the years.
